Orion (originally named Eclipse) was intended to be a Halloween pay-to-use model of mine. Again, like with a lot of my older models/characters I grew attached to, I changed his name to solidify him more as my own character. Unfortunately, I had the unpleasant experience of Orion being the first of my creations to be stolen (ripped) and leaked multiple times. Some tried to claim him as their own creation, which felt even more like a slap to the face considering I'd worked on Orion for about two months. It was a lesson learned. I will be working on new ways to ensure my work, even if stolen, will always trace back to me as their source.
Like with most avatars I made within this year and shortly after, I intend on reworking him! Orion will have a tweaked design as well as a full model rework to better align with how they've changed in my mind.
I will admit, even in his V1 form, Orion is a model I'm still insanely proud of as his finished form in game was so much more advanced compared to my first/second avatars (Simon and Marvin). I put in more toggles (using blend shapes for toggles instead of separate meshes), learned how to animate a limb (their tail), and learned how to toggle between different materials in Unity. Of course, Orion is capable of turning invisible and being triggered to jumpscare other players. It wouldn't be a Halloween themed character without some spooks! It does use the Nirvash's Locomotion prefab as well.
